Rapid Reaction - First Aid in Northumberland, Tyneside and the Borders
A childcare specific qualification covering all topics required by OFSTED for Child Minders and Nursery workers. Including emergency action plans, child and baby  CPR procedures, and how to deal with a range of  common conditions in the childcare environment.
This course is held over 2 days.

You will learn:

 

· HSE regulations for first aid provision in the workplace

 

· How to manage a medical emergency involving a child

 

· The latest CPR procedures needed to perform resuscitation

 

· Action to take in the event of an unconscious child

 

· How to deal with bleeding, burns and other major conditions

 

Who should attend:

 

Anyone who works  with children and parents wishing to increase their knowledge of First Aid.

 

Cost: £120 (£110 if paid at least 7 days in advance)
