This is the full HSE approved 3 day course to become a first aider in the workplace. Covering all aspects of first aid, this course very practical in its nature and you will get to practice your skills in scenario based exercises.

Course Dates

You will learn:

 

· HSE regulations for first aid provision in the workplace

 

· How to efficiently and effectively manage an incident

 

· The latest CPR procedures needed to perform resuscitation

 

· Action to take in the event of an unconscious casualty

 

· Disorders of breathing, circulation and consciousness

 

· How to deal with bleeding, burns and head injuries.

 

· Treatment of soft tissue injuries and fracture management.

 

 

First Aid at Work

Who should attend:

 

Anyone who wants a deeper understanding of First Aid or who works in either a higher risk environment or a low risk environment which employs more than 50 staff.

 

 

Cost: £205 (£195 if paid at least 7 days in advance)
